  3. What an eye you have! Every shot was just gorgeous and I love your captions with all of the birds! Looks like everyone had a wonderful time! I would imagine it will take you a while to transition back to real life after a trip like that. Have to keep reminding yourself that at least you had the experience – and now you have the beautiful memories. I hope you do something more with the photos you take – so many should be framed and hanging in your home!

    1. Thank you my sweet friend. I really dig it when I can eek out a little storyline…it’s almost as fun as taking the pictures 😉 I believe we all enjoyed the week immensely and know everyone got out of it what they needed. I do frame some of my photos, and likely will do some from this trip. One thing I always do though, is have photo books made for everyone and am working on those right now…takes a lot of time, but it’s a labor of love for sure. xo

  5. Wow, that is some really awesome photography, SB! I like the funny bird shots, got a laugh out of those ones, but mostly really enjoyed the photos of your family having fun (and boozing it up a little bit before a snooze). You really really know how to take a picture, and how to make a poor shivering Canadian long for the warmers spots in the world.

    1. Well thanks NB! Appreciate the kind words. And I can tell ya, that booze shot wasn’t a 10th of what was there…lol, at least in the beginning 🙂 It was beautiful, but just to make you feel a little better…never got out of the low 70s and the last two days were overcast. Help any?
