Civilization at the end of 2015
• Our Phones – Wireless
• Cooking – Fireless
• Cars – Keyless
• Food – Fatless
• Tires –Tubeless
• Dress – Sleeveless
• Youth – Jobless
• Leaders – Shameless
• Relationships – Meaningless
• Attitudes – Careless
• Babies – Fatherless
• Feelings – Heartless
• Education – Valueless
• Children – Mannerless

We are – SPEECHLESS
Government is – CLUELESS
And our Politicians are – WORTHLESS
I am scared – Shitless!
Ain’t it just – PRICELESS?

Hi everyone! Welcome to 50 Shades of Gray Hair. 50 Shades is my blog of life over the hill, where each day is full of delicious opportunities to earn another gray hair. I stopped declaring war on the gray when I began this blog years ago. Instead, I embrace and celebrate them along with whatever life decides to throw my way, with (sarcasm forward) humor and an optimistic eye to the future. I think. I hope? I don't know. At any rate...it's real, it's honest, it's full of 4 letter words, and it's me...on a platter. I sincerely welcome you all to my porch....♥♥Rhonda

Thanks Kel. Well, we are at my mother’s where she was in the 1/2 snow 1/2 sleet zone…about 8″ of snow nicely packed by 7 hours of sleet, and now snowing again. 🙂 Haven’t been home yet, but we live in the all snow zone…so, thinking it’ll be a foot to foot and a half. Which is cool…hubby’s off next two days, he can deal with it and Sadie and I can enjoy it! How about you?

Where is mom’s? And are you stranded there?

She’s in Richmond, VA….only about 10 miles from me, but she is right on the all snow or half sleet line! It’s closer to my husband’s job and I wanted to be here for her ‘just in case’ so we are staying here. I think we should be able to get home…but I’ve not ventured out, so can’t really say. They do NOT plow secondary roads here…they have enough trouble keeping up with the main ones. southerners…..geesh

Yeah, they just aren’t equipped to handle it. So nice of you to be with her. She must really appreciate that. I heard there have been 8 deaths so far from this storm. We missed it in Cleveland – just a little snow falling now. Well, we are half way through winter, climatologically, so that’s good! (Although I know you are the snow queen, my dear!) Just make safety your number one priority – I know you will!

Okay – and take advantage of the beauty with your camera! Always great shots after a storm! 🙂

Indeed! Put out a few yesterday of our beautiful Sadie’s first romp in the snow. What fun! But…new camera, still working out the howtos and wherefores. 🙂

But you, my dear SB, are peerless. Take that one to the bank.
I saw Ms. Palin’s endorsement of Mr. Trump the other day. I fear that humanity and civilization has finally come to the deep dark place where I, hopped up on scotch fumes as I might be, could offer a more reasonable thought or two compared to these charlatans. Like seriously. Ugh. I felt gross watching that video, actually.

As we are such a ‘global’ community now…one supposes all leaders of all nations can be looked at as a threat or as an asset. Basically, you’re not safe just because you live north of the border. Yikes eh?
